EIT Jumpstarter Evaluation Survey

EIT Jumpstarter – (called initially EIT Business Idea Competition) is a pre-acceleration program for stratups organized by European Institute of Innovation and Technologies – EIT communities (EIT Food, Health, RawMaterials, Manufacturing, Urbanmobility, Innoenergy, NewEuropeanBauhaus) which starts in March with recruitment of participants, Business Planning Bootcamps in May/June and further regional training and mentoring for entrepreneurial talents in September. Idea holders selected in an open call received training on structuring their business ideas, value proposition for customer, selection of beachhead market, basic finance, talking to the customer. Teams form different areas work together to better develop their business concepts and be able to start their business at the after finishing the training. Some teams participate in local trainings in their regions. Program has been conducted in both on-site and on-line formats from 2018 until now and evaluated and new activities were added throughout the years. Each year with approx. 20-30 teams from each thematic field went through it. From 2019 on it ends with Grand Finals where teams compete for the prizes up to 10000€.    

On behalf of EIT Food and University of Warsaw we would like discuss your startup idea that was submitted to EIT in the joint cross-KIC business idea competition EIT Jumpstarter. The interview is needed for the evaluation of EIT initiatives and designing better tools that support startups. Your answers will be used to compare experiences of various participants of the program, through aggregate statistical analyses. Our survey will take about 10 minutes
